HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF KANKAKEE COUNTY IS TAKING APPLICATIONS FOR A PARTNER FAMILY FOR THE BUILDING OF THEIR NEXT HOME YOU MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA TO QUALIFY FOR A HABITAT HOME: : • Need for adequate housing (example: Unsafe conditions, Overcrowding) • Kankakee County Resident for one year or more • Willing to complete 500 hours of “sweat equity” through work and program participation • Meet verifiable Kankakee County Habitat for Humanity income requirements Minimum of $1,350/month, Maximum of $3,750/month • Able to pay a $500 cash down payment • Able to pay a $500/ month mortgage payment that includes principal/property taxes/insurance • Agree to complete a credit check and background check • Willing to go through credit counseling IF YOU MEET ALL THE CRITERIA ABOVE PLEASE CONTACT CAROLE FRANKE AT 815.954.7615 |
